Vaccination Requirements

For everyone’s comfort and safety, and to feel confident returning to an in-person meeting environment, all attendees, speakers, and exhibitors at the 2022 AALS Workshop for New Law Teachers are required to be fully vaccinated. All attendees, speakers, and exhibitors will need to show their vaccination card or a digital copy thereof when they check in at the AALS Registration desk.

If you have a documented medical or religious exemption, please see below for a waiver request.

Testing Requirements

Only those who have requested a documented medical or religious vaccination exemption need to test negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to participating in workshop activities and provide proof of the negative test result. A COVID self-test, sometimes referred to as “home test,” is not acceptable. AALS will continue to update safety precautions as appropriate.

Masking

For the comfort and safety of everyone and to feel confident returning to an in-person meeting environment, AALS is requiring all attendees, speakers and exhibitors to wear a mask during the in-person meeting when not actively eating or drinking. If you forget your mask, masks will be available onsite. Hand-sanitizing stations will be available throughout the hotel meeting space.
